WorldHotels unveils three new properties throughout Europe

Hotels in Scotland and The Netherlands join WorldHotels’ Elite and Distinctive Collections.

PHOENIX – WorldHotels announced the addition of three new properties to the brand’s esteemed portfolio of global hotels. The Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf and The Bruntsfield Hotel in the U.K. have joined WorldHotels’ Distinctive and Elite collections respectively. Similarly, Kasteel de Vanenburg in Putten, The Netherlands will become part of WorldHotels’ Distinctive collection.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf, The Bruntsfield Hotel, and Kasteel de Vanenburg to WorldHotels. All three properties are magnificent additions to our EMEA portfolio and offer unique experiences that celebrate each destination’s incredibly rich history and culture,” said Wytze van den Berg, Managing Director EMEA, WorldHotels. “Each hotel is a depiction of the fine qualities for which WorldHotels’ collections are known, and we’re privileged to have them join our stunning portfolio of properties within the region and around the world.”

Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf
Once the home of shipbuilding baron Sir James Lithgow in the 1920’s, the historic Gleddoch Hotel Spa & Golf provides an immersive experience for travelers looking for a serene escape. Comfortably nestled amongst 360 acres of sprawling Scottish countryside, this property is regarded as one of the most prestigious luxury hotels in Scotland. Complete with a top-quality golf course and spa resort, the two-story, 70-room boutique hotel is infused with the spirit of its highly celebrated Scottish heritage.

The Bruntsfield Hotel
Centrally located within the heart of Edinburgh’s city center, The Bruntsfield Hotel is a striking Victorian townhouse boasting 70 classically styled guestrooms with scenic views over Bruntsfield Links Park. The hotel is also within walking distance of popular attractions where guests can indulge in world-class shopping on Princes Street and sightseeing at Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. After a long day of exploring, guests are welcomed to enjoy classic Scottish dishes with a contemporary twist at The Neighbourhood. For a more intimate dining experience, the restaurant also houses a secret garden in the back, complete with ambient lighting, heated booths, and a picturesque archway.

Kasteel de Vanenburg
Apart from its growing presence throughout the U.K., WorldHotels is also expanding its reach in The Netherlands with the addition of Kasteel de Vanenburg. Located in the forest-rich area of Veluwe, less than 45 minutes from Amsterdam, the 17th-century castle is surrounded by beautiful greenery dotted with historical lanes and watercourses. This rustic setting combined with modern, in-demand amenities provides guests with a unique stay in any of the property’s 52 hotel rooms spread over four courtyards around the castle. Additionally, Kasteel de Vanenburg is home to upscale dining where the most outstanding culinary creations are prepared using produce sourced from its own gardens, such as Tournedos Rossini topped with a truffle madeira sauce.
