By automating operational workflows including cleaning, maintenance, and repairs, Wynwood House has replaced manual ticketing systems and Excel spreadsheets with Breezeway’s centralized platform, resulting in greater visibility and insights into the team’s efficiency and performance.
BOSTON, US – Wynwood House has made significant cost savings and plans to scale into four new markets since appointing Breezeway to implement operational standards across its inventory.
The Peruvian apartment rental startup, which offers a network of apartments and villas for short, medium and long stays in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and Panama, integrated Breezeway’s platform last year to streamline and automate operations across its inventory in Mexico. Since implementing Breezeway, the rental startup has reassigned five team members and reduced salaried positions by at least $30,000 annually in the market. They are now rolling out Breezeway’s award-winning software across their additional markets.
Leveraging Breezeway’s tools, which include property care automation and task scheduling, Wynwood House has reported fewer issues and higher reviews over the last year. The apartment rental company is now gearing up to expand into three new markets (Spain, Santiago and Miami) within the next 18 months – something that wouldn’t be possible without its operations platform, according to Wynwood House.
Whereas Wynwood House was previously absorbing costs that were owner costs, access to maintenance tickets with pictures and invoices of repairs has allowed the startup to increase transparency into maintenance costs and properly allocate costs, saving on average $10,000. Via Breezeway, Wynwood House automatically schedules thousands of tasks per month in Mexico alone, resulting in significant savings. Wynwood House has also increased its rating on Airbnb from an average of 4.7 to 4.8 since integrating Breezeway, reaching Superhost status.
For Breezeway, Latin America is a growing market. The operations platform has dedicated Spanish-speaking support and account management teams on hand to assist clients like Wynwood House, and the Breezeway app is available in 10 languages, including Spanish.
Juan Garay, Co-Founder of Wynwood House, said: “As we expand, it’s absolutely crucial that we have efficient and streamlined operations. We chose Breezeway because of the depth of features and ability for customization to our business.”
Jeremy Gall, CEO and Founder of Breezeway, said: “Wynwood House is an exciting client with a forward-thinking model. Their recognition of the pivotal role operations play in growth led them to partner with us, aiming to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and gain better insights into their operations across their expansive inventory.
“Seeing Wynwood House make significant time and cost savings is a testament to the power of Breezeway. We’re excited to support Wynwood House as it enters its next phase of growth, reaffirming our commitment to enabling their growth trajectory and excellence in the vacation rental industry.”
