WASHINGTON, DC USA – The Events Industry Council (EIC) announced registration has opened for CMP Advance 2024, a powerful two-day networking and learning event held at the historic Fairmont Royal York in Toronto, Canada.
Open exclusively to CMPs and designed by their peers, the experience will feature peer-to-peer learning, high-caliber keynotes from industry innovators and impactful sessions to deliver tangible take-home value to improve event experiences. The content will center around the relevant CMP Domains organized within EIC’s pillars of People, Planet and Purpose.
The event comes during a pivotal year when the CMP programme is being reviewed and updated to ensure the global CMP community remains resilient in the ever-evolving world of events.
CMPs attending CMP Advance can earn CE credits toward their recertification.

The CMP programme started in 1985 to enhance the knowledge and performance of meeting professionals, promote the status and credibility of the meeting profession and advance uniform standards of practice. Today, more than 12,000 events industry professionals worldwide hold this designation. Formerly CMP Conclave, the first CMP Advance was held in New York City in 2023.
CMP Advance 2024 will be hosted by event partner Fairmont Royal York, a historic landmark hotel in the heart of downtown Toronto. CMP Advance is produced with support from event sponsors and strategic partners Cvent and Encore, and EIC strategic partners ALHI Luxury Global Sales, MGM Resorts International, IMEX, Hilton and Marina Bay Sands.
