Mazatlán Tourism Board names Newlink Group as its Agency of Record

The Mazatlán Tourism Board has partnered with the Miami-based consulting firm to elevate the awareness of the city and attract new visitors.

MAZATLAN, MEXICO – The Mazatlán Tourism Board has announced the appointment of Newlink Communications Group, an internationally renowned consulting firm based in Miami, Florida, with offices throughout Latin America and Europe, as its official strategic communications agency of record. The Tourism Practice at Newlink will execute an integrated communications strategy for the city, including public relations, trade marketing strategy, promotional activations, and strategic counsel for crisis and reputation management in the United States and Canada.

Mazatlán, also known as “The Pearl of the Pacific,” is located along 12 miles of sandy beaches at the entrance of the Sea of Cortez. The Mazatlán Tourism Board is focused on leveraging the destination’s attractions, culture, gastronomy, and robust hospitality offering to generate awareness and interest in visiting and exploring the Colonial City on the Beach. The city has consecutively been recognized as the principal destination in Mexico and Central America by the World Travel Awards.
