PARADISE VALLEY, AZ – Brian Peterson has been named Executive Chef at LON’s at The Hermosa, announced Noel Fulton, Managing Director of The Hermosa Inn, a AAA Four
Diamond luxury boutique hideaway in Paradise Valley, Arizona. Renowned for its globally inspired Arizona fare, the critically acclaimed LON’s at the Hermosa is the culinary centerpiece
of the hotel and is complemented by a subterranean wine cellar, a celebrated outdoor dining patio, and its bar and casual dining counterpart: LON’s Last Drop.

“We are thrilled to welcome Brian back to The Hermosa Inn, where he was pivotal in LON’s success in the early 2000s as the Chef de Cuisine and Banquet Chef” said Fulton. “His devotion
to the legacy of LON’s shines throughout his new menus.”

Peterson brings more than two decades of hospitality expertise to his new role at The Hermosa with his unique blend of culinary creativity, exceptional leadership qualities and superb food &
beverage managerial skills. After his first stint at LON’s, Peterson moved to The Boulders Resort & Spa in 2005, where he oversaw the AAA Five Diamond Banquet operations and the hotel’s
highly rated restaurant: The Latilla. The following year, Peterson was named Executive Chef at the prestigious Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club, the first of several private golf and country club kitchens he would oversee, including Terravita Golf & Country Club and Scottsdale National Golf Club. In 2007, Peterson opened Cork, a AAA Four Diamond, fine-dining restaurant in Chandler, Arizona, as partner and Executive Chef. Named ‘Best New Restaurant’ by The Arizona Republic and ‘Best Small Plates’ by Phoenix New Times, Cork had a successful run through 2014, then was rebranded as Earnest Restaurant and thrived as a second iteration.

In 2015, Peterson was named Executive Chef at Wright’s, the AAA Four Diamond fine-dining restaurant at the Arizona Biltmore, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, where he created popular wine
dinners and a celebrated brunch.

Tapped as Executive Chef of the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix in 2021, Peterson established new standards for the entire food operation and elevated the signature restaurant, Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails, to destination dining. With the remodel of the Eden Rooftop Bar, Peterson created yet another stylish standout, known for its enhanced cocktail program, private cabanas, firepit seating and resident DJ.
