Global Travel Executive Barbara Blue joins TRIPBAM as VP of Strategic Partnerships

Barbara Blue joins TRIPBAM following a 22-year tenure with BCD Travel.

DALLAS – TRIPBAM, the global provider of air and hotel rate reshopping, auditing, benchmarking and sourcing, has appointed global travel executive and industry veteran Barbara Blue as VP of Strategic Partnerships.

Blue joins TRIPBAM following a 22-year tenure with BCD Travel. As VP of Strategic Partnerships, a newly created role within TRIPBAM, Blue will use her knowledge and background to manage, develop and strengthen TRIPBAM’s travel management company (TMC) relationships.

“Barbara has experienced the business travel industry from every angle,” said TRIPBAM Founder & CEO Steve Reynolds. “We’re thrilled to have her expertise and we look forward to further strengthening our TMC partnerships.”

Blue most recently served as President of Latin America and North American Affiliates Program, where she drove successful acquisition and partnership development, led the sustainable growth of $3B LATAM operations and improved company culture, employee satisfaction, customer retention and productivity. Previous work experiences include working as a Global Account Manager for American Express, and as a Travel Manager at Turner Broadcasting Systems.

“I’ve been incredibly impressed with the growth of TRIPBAM over the past decade and the expanded role it’s had in corporate travel programs,” said Blue. “I’m excited to be able to work closely with TMCs to strengthen the partnership between their teams, their clients and TRIPBAM.”

Blue officially started at TRIPBAM in January 2023.
