Troy Benavides, General Manager and Julie DeLeon, Director of Sales and Marketing at Hilton San Antonio Hill Country
HRI Lodging taps San Antonio hospitality veterans to lead the Hill Country property.
SAN ANTONIO, TX. – Hotel management company HRI Lodging is appointing Troy Benavides as general manager and Julie DeLeon as director of sales and marketing at Hilton San Antonio Hill Country. Nestled among the rolling hills of San Antonio, the resort-style property features 226-guest rooms, three outdoor heated pools, and multiple dining venues serving Texas-inspired cuisine. Both executives are seasoned hospitality professionals who will lead hotel operations and strategic sales and marketing initiatives to uphold the property as a must-visit destination for leisure and business travelers in the Hill Country.
San Antonio native Benavides brings decades of experience in the hospitality industry, previously serving in leadership positions in San Antonio with the historic Sheraton Gunter Hotel, Hilton Palacio del Rio on the famed RiverWalk, and Hilton San Antonio Airport. Additionally, he has served in many General Manager and Area roles throughout the Unites States where he achieved a long record of accomplishment positioning hotels to become market leaders. He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a bachelor's degree in business administration with dual majors in management and marketing.
A career sales professional with 25 years of hospitality experience and 10 years within the San Antonio market, DeLeon has held several sales leadership roles for global hotel brands including Hilton. Most recently, she was the director of sales and marketing at Homewood Suites by Hilton Lackland AFB/SeaWorld in San Antonio, where she oversaw the property’s corporate and leisure sales strategy. Prior to that, she was also the director of sales and marketing at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport. DeLeon has previously held sales roles at Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk Downtown and Hyatt Place San Antonio/Riverwalk. DeLeon is a graduate of SST Travel School and attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
