Clemens Van der Werf is a results-driven executive with over 20 years of leading and building international businesses and has broad experience in the (expedition) travel, yachting, maritime, shipping and private aviation industries.

Oceanwide Expeditions, an award-winning adventure travel provider of polar expedition cruises to Antarctica and the Arctic, announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Clemens Van der Werf as Chief Executive Officer.

Clemens Van der Werf is a results-driven executive with over 20 years of leading and building international businesses and has broad experience in the (expedition) travel, yachting, maritime, shipping and private aviation industries. He served as President & CEO of companies dedicated to dealing with high-end customers and focused on creating first-class customer experiences.

As an avid wildlife and nature photographer Clemens Van der Werf loves to create awareness for the natural beauty of our planet through his award-winning photography dedicated primarily to the polar regions. After 18 years in the USA, Clemens recently relocated to The Netherlands. Clemens Van der Werf earned his MBA degree from Rotterdam School of Management, The Netherlands.
