OHM Hotels in Egypt has been sucessfully audited by TÜV NORD

TÜV NORD Egypt audits and confirms that OHM’s operational practices in its Egypt Hotels do conform to the guidelines issued by the ministry of tourism in Egypt and TÜV Nord Guidelines for re-opening the hotels which includes sanitation and hygiene. 

CAIRO – Following the recently released governmental regulations allowing hotels that put in effect strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to operate with limited occupancy levels, TÜV NORD Egypt audits OHM’s Hotels in El Gouna and Taba Heights and confirms that the Hotels do meet the international standards of sanitation and hygiene.

Orascom Hotels Management, the hotel management subsidiary of Orascom Development Group, has recently unveiled its “Together we Can!” initiative, which features enhanced sanitation and hygiene protocols addressing the new normal post COVID-19.

“Together we Can!” builds on the rigorous hygiene and cleaning protocols already in place, with extended focus on enhanced hotel cleaning practices, social interactions, and workplace practices to meet the new health and safety challenges and expectations.

We are taking the current situation so seriously, and have used the last months to closely monitor WHO guidelines and international health advancements to develop comprehensive operational and staff training protocols that allow our hotels continue to provide a safe place for our guests and staff”, explained Schmitt, CEO, Orascom Hotels Management.

OHM has recently announced that its hotels are ready to welcome guests in El Gouna as of May 15 and Taba Heights as of May 21, 2020. The announcement also outlined some details of its new operational manual.
