Operator celebrates over 350 successfully-run tours since September 2020.
Whether it’s an adrenaline-packed adventure, or a relaxing break in the sunshine, G Adventures is helping travellers to make the most of their summer with over 550 incredible adventures departing around the world throughout August and September. Featuring a high number of green and amber list destinations and ranging from hiking trips in Europe to cultural tours in the Middle East, travellers can choose from a range of travel styles and experiences to suit their summer holiday style.
For those wanting to challenge themselves and enjoy some of Europe’s most picturesque hiking, G Adventures’ new ‘Active Europe’ tours will be included among the 550 trips, offering trips designed to show a different side to mainstream European destinations. These tours include Hiking Ibiza, where travellers will swap beach clubs for cliff hikes and enjoy the quieter, more local side of the White Isle as well as Hiking Crete: Gorges & Coastal Walks, where travellers will explore local fishing villages and the Samaria Gorge on the southern coast of the island.
Travellers wanting to sit back, relax and soak up some Mediterranean sunshine can opt for one of G Adventures’ sailing tours in Greece and Croatia. With a full time Skipper on board, travellers can enjoy exploring the coastline between Dubrovnik and Split or discovering hidden coves on the Greek islands, while sleeping on board their own yacht each night.
For a slice of local Italian flavour, three local living tours will also be on offer, where travellers will stay with a host family and learn the local way of life. In Sorrento, travellers will stay on a traditional limoncello farm and try their hand at making this famous Italian aperitif, while in the Furore, travellers will stay in an agriturismo nestled in the hills, overlooking the Amalfi Coast.
“For many travellers, this will be the first time they are looking to travel abroad since the pandemic first started and we’re striving to give them as much choice as possible with this amazing list of departures running through August and September.
