With the experience of more than 25 years in the Hospitality and Mice industry and more than 1,000 unique incentive trips, events, weddings, product launches and conferences, Miek Egberts is one of Europe’s leading experiential event planners. She is well known for her stylish and creative ideas, deep local destination knowledge and her special sense for all the wishes and needs of her clients. Miek is original Dutch. She has lived since her childhood in various parts of the Mediterranean: Italy, Portugal, South France and Monaco. She studied Business & Administration at the Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht in the Netherlands with a specialization in Tourism and Marketing. She has an all round experience in the hospitality and events industry as she has hold senior management positions for various leading luxury hotels in the Netherlands, Monaco and Italy. As well as for Newtours, the privately owned independent DMC leader in the Italian market, and served as managing director for AlliedPRA Monaco. A respected leader in the Monegasque and South of France DMC Industry, she is well-known in the United States, the United Kingdom and other leading DMC source market. She holds a CMP and a CMM certification and is an active member of Site–Society for Incentive Travel Excellence. She is a holistic, humanist entrepreneur. Miek has 2 children, a boy and a girl. She is currently living between Monte Carlo.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
