Reed Travel Exhibitions, organiser of the leading luxury travel events International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM), ILTM Asia, and ILTM Americas has announced the launch of the first luxury travel event to focus exclusively on Africa – ILTM Africa.
Taking place in Cape Town, April 2013, ILTM Africa will follow ILTM’s successful format of selecting the most discerning luxury travel agents and specialists to meet directly with Africa’s diverse range of luxury travel suppliers. Whilst the product will be totally devoted to Africa, buyers will come from it’s biggest markets around the world including USA, Brazil and Europe.
To comply with ILTM’s policy of pre-qualifying both buyers and exhibitors, each of the buyers and suppliers invited to attend will be accredited for participation in ILTM Africa. Pre-scheduled appointments will be arranged on a strict one-to-one ratio.
Commenting on the company’s first Africa launch, Alison Gilmore ILTM Exhibition Director said “Reed has been exploring opportunities in Africa for sometime and because of the sheer size of the continent, the diversity of its luxury travel offering with natural beauty, world-class facilities, adventure and wildlife experiences, it makes sense to take our global brand, already on 3 continents, to a new one, Africa.
“From the day we launched ILTM Americas earlier this year, we sold out within a matter of weeks and with the debut event opening on 1st October, there will be a wait list of companies who will ensure substantial growth for the event in 2013, we fully expect ILTM Africa to have the same support”.
