Together, Air Charter Service teams up with Allianz Insurance have created a tailor-made policy called the ‘Charter Operator Insolvency Protection’ plan.
Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has teamed up with Allianz Insurance to form a unique airline insolvency protection policy, taken out in the customer’s name.
Matt Purton, Commercial Jets Director at the company’s London office, explained the importance in today’s market: “In such a fast-paced industry like aviation, change is inevitable. We have seen a large turnover of airlines in the past few years with major collapses such as XL Airways, Malev and Astraeus well documented.
“We explained our needs to Allianz and together we have created a tailor-made policy called the ‘Charter Operator Insolvency Protection’ plan. This new policy means that we can now offer another level of financial security to our client base, to assure them their money is not only safe with ACS, but also with the chosen carrier.”
Purton added: “Taking out the protection is optional but, since its rollout a few weeks ago, we have seen a large uptake.”
