Perth Convention Bureau bolsters its sales team

The Perth Convention Bureau has bolstered its sales team with the appointment of staff to two newly created positions. Paul Beeson, a member of the design consultancy team responsible for developing ‘Brand WA’, has joined the PCB as a Director of Business Development.

He joins two other Directors of Business Development and will have a strong international focus.

The PCB’s Managing Director Ross MacCulloch said Mr Beeson’s knowledge of the health industry and his experience of working in Singapore would be great assets to the Bureau.

The second new appointment to the sales team is Caitlin Craig, who joins as Business Development Manager assisting Director of Business Development Denise Bradley. Ms Craig has recently completed a tourism degree and has been working for Tourism Western Australia.

There are also several other new faces on the sales team.

Gareth Martin has joined the PCB as a Director of Business Development, filling a 12 month vacancy created when Luana McDermott started maternity leave in December. Mr Martin has a background in the pharmaceutical/medical industry here and overseas.

Another new face is Ebaney Johnson who becomes Business Development Manager with responsibility for corporate meetings and incentives.

She replaces Marina McKeague, who is taking up a business events position within the Office of the Agent General for Western Australia in London in mid-March. Ms Johnson brings a wealth of corporate experience to the PCB from her previous role as Sales and Marketing Manager with Joondalup Resort.
