Beyond Luxury Media launches a game changing trade show to showcase the best of Pan African travel

This ground-breaking event will not be about luxury travel. It will not be about experiential travel either. It will be, quite simply, a platform to showcase the remarkable brands and operators that constitute the very best, of African tourism.

Beyond Luxury Media Ltd, the organizers of the leading travel trade events, PURE Life Experiences and LE Miami announce the launch of a new, groundbreaking travel trade show, that will turbo charge business opportunities for Africa’s finest travel products.

The show to be called We Are Africa, will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, starting in May 2014. Announcing this new event Serge Dive, CEO Beyond Luxury Media Ltd, said:

“Over the last 11 years our team has consistently broken the mold of traditional trade shows by creating superior events that redefine the key industries in travel; the luxury, the experiential and the contemporary. The African based participants at these events, however, represented just one section of the exhibitors that represented tourism product from all over the world.”

It is not surprising therefore, that once close working relationships were forged with Africa’s key travel trade players, we were continually asked to create an equally game-changing event with an “All Africa” travel show, exclusively for product from this great continent. We have listened carefully to our partners across Africa, and as a result, I am responding to their requests by presenting “We are Africa”, a totally new platform for buyers to do business with the suppliers of Pan African tourism.

This ground-breaking event will not be about luxury travel. It will not be about experiential travel either. It will be, quite simply, a platform to showcase the remarkable brands and operators that constitute the very best, of African tourism. A raft of brands that are worth talking about, and above all brands that have the potential to truly excite an internationally discerning clientele. Africa is uniquely rich in outstanding and truly amazing tourism product, which we will select by invitation, to attract these international buyers from all corners of the world.

Participating buyers and suppliers participating will be selected from the “best in breed” across tourism markets so that “We are Africa” will encompass all the ingredients required, to make a modern travel trade show successful. There will be an international “hosted buyer” program that will also offer a comprehensive menu of familarisation trips across Africa. Appointments will be scheduled, and the event will include conference and workshop sessions. No event organized by Beyond Luxury Media would be complete without our “special ingredient”, fabulous parties for all buyers and exhibitors to network the night away!

“We are Africa”will truly differentiate itself from others in two aspects. First, our show will concentrate on bringing new markets and new business to Africa. Second, we will focus on assembling a unique community around this event. A community passionate about promoting the very best of Africa to the world, sharing sales and marketing ideas that will create as many networking and lead opportunities as possible. An additional element will be an exciting new African award ceremony to highlight the best in breed.”

In the spirit of all the other shows that the Beyond Luxury Media team have built, “We Are Africa” will herald the creation of a genuine movement, a movement for those who want to stand out, be counted celebrate and promote to the world the unique beauty of Africa. I believe that all those values are epitomized by the name of our show, We Are Africa.

The timing of the show, early May 2014, will give the buyers invited and hosted by “We Are Africa” the opportunity to extend their stay and to go to Durban the following weekend to meet other Southern Africa travel trade suppliers.
