bmi regional launches additional flights and savings scheme

Airline launches ‘Flight Pass’ – multiple purchase discount scheme. bmi regional increases frequency to three flights per day between Norwich and Aberdeen.

bmi regional is launching additional flights and a multiple purchase discount scheme on its Norwich – Aberdeen route. Capacity will increase to three flights daily while regular passengers can expect to save up to 40%.

From 11 January 2016, the airline will increase capacity on the route, moving from two to three daily return flights. Additionally bmi regional is introducing ‘Flight Pass’, a multiple purchase discount scheme, offering regular travellers savings of between 10% and 40% on the base fare.

The changes come into effect on 11 January 2016, with flights on sale from Thursday 17 December.

Flight Pass is a key development on the route, which attracts a high number of regular travellers. It will enable passengers to achieve savings in excess of £1,000 by booking up to six return trips in advance. A sliding scale of discounts will see two return trips attracting a 10% discount while six return trips will attract the maximum 40% reduction.

Flight Pass customers will continue to enjoy bmi regional’s professional and bespoke services including lounge access with a full bar service, fast track security at Aberdeen Airport, online check-in, 20kg baggage allowance and complimentary drinks and snacks on-board.

Jochen Schnadt, chief commercial officer at bmi regional, said: “Flight Pass offers our passengers excellent value for money on this popular route, while the additional daily flights provide added convenience to our passengers.”
