This December bmi regional is launching its 2014 flight availability offering a first chance to book affordable flights to Europe. From Wednesday 4 December, bmi regional’s five day spectacular will offer a chance to book flights at the lowest ever prices. With routes taking in the likes of Milan, Munich, Gothenburg and Brussels, this is a superb opportunity to enjoy a wonderful mini-break in Europe.

The prices are for flights taken during 2014 and as with all bmi regional fares the prices are fully inclusive of taxes and charges, allocated seating, 20kg hold luggage allowance and in-flight catering! The airline is urging consumers to book now while prices are low and availability is good.

The early bird deals and routes are: Bristol – Frankfurt, Munich, Milan, Hamburg or Aberdeen. Each of these classic cities offers something a little different from the next.

As the financial and business centre of Germany, the city of Frankfurt has benefitted from this lifestyle and is rich, stylish and ideal for those who enjoy the finer things in life. There are world class restaurants and hotels complimented by a vast array of designer shops and art galleries.

Munich is the gateway to Bavaria, home of the classic fairytale castles which are found throughout the region. The city itself is well known for its beer festivals, architecture and artistic culture.  It’s compact and easy to explore with four main avenues making up the key part of the city and where many of the attractions lie. Not to be missed while visiting is the daily performance of the town hall clock or Glockenspiel.

Home of all thing haute couture Milan is often chosen as a shopping break destination.  Why not visit for more cultural pursuits and take in some historical and spectacular sights including Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Last Supper’ at the church of Santa Maria della Grazie or an operatic performance at the world famous La Scala. The city is also home to many renowned spas.

The ultra cool city of Hamburg is one of the largest cities in Germany and host to a choice of eclectic night clubs for which it has become well known. Hamburg also houses one of the world’s top 50 hotels according to the Daily Telegraph so a break here should include a night at the ‘East Hotel’. With plans afoot to turn 40% of Hamburg into a green network of land committed to cycling, swimming and nature it’s a great escape from the bustle of the UK’s packed cities.

Birmingham to Gothenburg
Sitting on a canal and surrounded by waterways, the pretty and vibrant city of Gothenburg is ideal for a weekend break and also the gateway to the spectacular Swedish coastline with its amazing mix of islands, lakes and forests. From the Michelin starred seafood restaurants to the pretty city gardens this is a unique destination with plenty to offer.

Manchester – Aberdeen
Why not take a fling up to the highlands and enjoy some Scottish hospitality in the city of Aberdeen. Aberdeen offers something for everyone from the elegance of Balmoral, the Scottish seat of the Royal Family,  to the world class golf courses and whiskey tours of Glenfiddich.

East Midlands or Newcastle – Brussels
Best known as the home of the European Union HQ, Brussels is also a beautiful city of architecture, antiques, fine beers and even finer chocolate.
