BusTracker integrates GPS tracking to help customers track real-time location of their bus to create a seamless travel experience for customers.
DALLAS – BoltBus, the popular premium bus line committed to providing fast, frequent and safe transportation at an amazingly low price, announced the addition of BusTracker on BoltBus.com. BoltBus customers now can look up where their bus is, and when it will arrive. Customers can access BusTracker by visiting bustracker.boltbus.com or the mobile app and search by schedule number, departure city or arrival city for updates.
Automatically updating every one to four minutes, BusTracker pulls data from three tracking systems installed on all BoltBus buses to provide the latest schedule status for customers. For those using a smartphone, BusTracker is available on both Apple and Android devices.
“We are excited to launch BusTracker for our customers,” said David Hall, general manager, BoltBus. “This system takes the uncertainty out of bus travel and our customers can relax and enjoy their trip with bus status information at their fingertips.”
In addition to BusTracker, BoltBus earlier this year introduced bus-side ticket scanning, and has incorporated Uber into its mobile app, allowing customers to request an Uber ride to and from any BoltBus location right from the palm of their hand. This latest tool gives customers the ability to manage their trip from start to finish without having to access another website or app.
