Celebrity Cruises<.> makes California dreamin` a reality in 2003, introducing the line`s first series of seven- to 11-night cruises along the California coast and the Mexican Riviera on the 1,870-guest Mercury.

Our rapid fleet expansion over the past two years — bringing the Celebrity fleet to nine ships — was expressly designed to allow us to offer an expanded array of vacation options to our guests, said Celebrity`s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Steven Hancock. Our Captain`s Club members and travel agent partners alike expressed interest in California and Mexican Riviera cruises, and we`re thrilled to respond to that interest with this fabulous new series of itineraries.

Celebrity`s first cruise along the California coast departs round-trip from San Francisco on September 28, 2003, with ports of call in Monterey, Santa Barbara and San Diego, California; Ensenada, Mexico; and Catalina Island, California.

On October 5, 12, and 19, 2003, and March 21 and 28, and April 4 and 11, 2004, Mercury will sail a series of seven-night California and Mexican Riviera cruises round-trip from San Francisco, with ports of call in Monterey and Catalina Island, California, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

A 10-night California and Mexican Riviera cruise sets sail round-trip from San Francisco on October 26, 2003, and April 25, 2004, calling on Monterey and Catalina Island, California; and Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

On November 5, 2003, Mercury departs round-trip from San Francisco on an 11-night Mexican Riviera cruise, with visits to Monterey and Catalina Island, California; and Mazatlan, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Mercury presents another 11-night Mexican Riviera cruise round-trip from San Diego on November 17, 2003, with ports of call in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, and Manzanillo, Mexico.

A series of 10-night Mexican Riviera sailings are offered round-trip from San Diego on November 28 and December 19, 2003, and January 9 and 30, and February 20, 2004, with ports of call in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, and Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico.

Rounding out Celebrity`s first series of Mexican Riviera sailings are several 11-night cruises round-trip from San Diego on December 8 and 29, 2003, and January 19, February 9 and March 1, 2004, featuring calls on Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Puerto Vallarta, Acapulco, Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, and Manzanillo, Mexico.
