Denver International Airport uses Textura-CPM Enterprise

Fifth busiest airport in the US standardizes payment and invoicing for all construction work.

CHICAGO – Textura Corporation, leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, announced that Denver International Airport (DIA) adopted Textura-CPM Enterprise to standardize the payment and invoicing process for certain airport construction and improvement work. The airport is taking the same path to improved efficiencies as Denver Public works, which has been using Textura solutions for the past 18 months. The DIA Hotel and Transit Center, a $544 million project under construction includes an on-site hotel and a public transit center that will accommodate a rail line connecting DIA with downtown’s Denver Union Station, is also currently using Textura solutions.

“With Textura-CPM Enterprise, the goal is to improve the pay application process for certain construction and design projects,” said Chief Financial Officer Patrick Heck, Denver International Airport. “An airport the size of DIA always has a number of projects underway where Textura will provide great benefit to the airport and our partners.”

Textura-CPM electronically integrates all the components of the construction payment management process, including billing, lien waiver collection, compliance management and payments, into one seamless workflow. By moving the process online, CPM allows project stakeholders to access project information in real-time, leading to better business decision making. Textura-CPM Enterprise also eliminates the stacks of paper associated with a construction project.

DIA is the world’s 13th busiest airport and the fifth-busiest in the United States. With more than 53 million passengers in 2012, DIA is one of the busiest hubs in the world’s aviation market and is Colorado’s primary economic engine, generating more than $26 billion in annual economic impact for the state.

“Textura is extremely pleased that DIA has chosen our solutions,” said Patrick Allin, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Textura Corporation. “As one of the busiest airports in the world, DIA has a constant stream of construction and improvement projects. We are confident that our solutions will help them gain efficiencies and improve productivity.”
