Estonian Air to add seasonal flights to Vienna in summer 2015

Estonian Air flights to Vienna, the capital of Austria will be operated from 3 April to 23 October three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Estonian Air will resume flights to Vienna, the capital of Austria in summer 2015. Seasonal flights between Tallinn and Vienna will be operated three times a week from 3 April to 23 October.

“Vienna is an admirable destination with its unique architecture and cultural events for both, a stay of a few days or a longer holiday,” said Indrek Randveer, the CCO of Estonian Air. “There is a clear demand for direct flights to Vienna on Estonian market which is why we added Vienna to the list of our summer destinations.”

According to Randveer Vienna offers many exciting events to visit next year in addition to numerous museums, monuments and cafe culture, which has been included to UNESCO World Heritage Site. “The Ringstrasse, which is surrounding the Old Town of Vienna and celebrating its 150 anniversary next year, is probably one of the most famous and most beautiful streets in the world,” said Randveer. Together with the Ringstra?e anniversary celebrations quests of Vienna have different ways to spend leisure time or enjoy numerous cultural events, like famous Vienna State Opera outdoor performances or other musical events.

Estonian Air flights to Vienna, the capital of Austria will be operated from 3 April to 23 October three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Wednesdays Estonian Air flights depart from Tallinn at noon and arrive in Vienna at 13:20. The flights on Fridays will be operated the same time from April until the middle of June and from the end of August and until the end of October. During the summer months the flights on Fridays depart from Tallinn at 18:15 and arrive in Vienna at 19:30. On Sundays the flights depart from Tallinn at 07:00 and arrive in Vienna at 08:20.

Estonian Air to extend seasonal flights to Munich till October 2015
Estonian Air extends the flight period between Tallinn and Munich until 24 October 2015 due to the growing demand to operate flights also during summer. Currently the flights to Munich are operated once a week on Saturdays.

“We have been flying to Munich during the last two winter seasons,” said Indrek Randveer, the CCO of Estonian Air. “Customers who have used the route during winter season, but also others have shown a clear interest to fly to this metropolis in Southern Germany also in summer traffic period.”

Munich, which is one of the most popular tourist destinations, has also been voted the world’s most livable city. Munich is rightly called the magical city – everyone can find what they are looking for. Some people travel to Munich to visit the world’s largest science and technology museum while others enjoy delicious German beer under the city’s ancient chestnut trees.

From 2 April to 24 October 2015, Estonian Air flies between Tallinn and Munich three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. On Mondays and Thursdays Estonian Air flights depart from Tallinn at 12:05 and arrive in Munich at 13:35. During the three first months in April the Saturdays flights depart from Tallinn at 06:30 and arrive in Munich at 09:00. Starting from 25 April the flights on Saturdays depart from Tallinn at 18:15 and arrive in Munich at 19:40.

Estonian Air is aiming to provide Estonia with reliable and regular double daily connections to destinations of strategic importance and of substantial demand. Being a small country on the periphery of Europe, Estonia depends on such connections, and Estonian Air is committed to provide these services.

In addition, from March to October 2015, Estonian Air flies to Paris and Berlin, from April to October to Nice, Vienna and Split, and from April to November to Milan.

For instance, Stockholm Arlanda, Copenhagen and Amsterdam airports act as important hubs for connecting flights around the whole world, like to New York, Hamburg, Zurich, Lisbon, Detroit, Toronto, Singapore, Atlanta, Boston, London, Washington, Madrid or Barcelona.
