Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, and LOT Polish Airlines, one of the fastest-growing airlines in Eastern Europe, have signed a multi-year full content agreement that will guarantee all Amadeus subscribers worldwide access to the carrier’s full range of fares, inventory and schedules.
With this agreement, LOT Polish Airlines’ schedules, fares, last seat availability and associated inventory available through the Amadeus system will be at least the same and under the same conditions, as that offered through the airline’s website.
“Given its strategic location in the heart of central Europe, LOT Polish Airlines is a key carrier for our subscribers. We are glad to have signed this long-term agreement with LOT as it is a natural continuation of the business cooperation we have enjoyed over the years,” said David Doctor, Director of Distribution Marketing at Amadeus.
“We are convinced that this brand new partnership with Amadeus will bring significant benefits to our travel agency partners by providing streamlined, complete access to all of our content” said Marcin Pirog, CEO of LOT Polish Airlines. “This agreement is in line with our strategy to enhance our distribution through the travel agency channel and will enable us to strengthen both our domestic and international presence” he added.
Amadeus has recently announced long-term full content agreements with key airlines including Turkish Airlines, airberlin, TAP Portugal, and Alitalia.
