Cruise ferry operator, DFDS Seaways, is celebrating after winning the Oscar of the travel industry for the third successive year – Europe’s Leading Long Sea Ferry Operator 2009 – at the World Travel Awards.
The World Travel Awards are recognised as the highest accolade within the travel industry. Now in their 16th year, the European awards were held at the Marriott Praia D’El Rey Golf and Beach Resort in Portugal on the 17th October. The star studded awards ceremony celebrates success in the travel industry with awards that are voted for by over 170,000 travel industry professionals.
