On April 1 this year, Hogatex opened a subsidiary in Dusseldorf, Germany. The team of dedicated experts with a long experience in the restaurant IT, was already hired in January. Christian Steinkampf, Director F&B Systems and heading international sales for Hogatex, directs the Dusseldorf office from his base in Munich: With Hogatex Dusseldorf we are going to establish another competence centre for the Hogatex foodservice and POS product range.
Already four years ago, Hogatex started to build up sales for the US American POS solution InfoGenesis in EMEA. Since then Hogatex has won the reseller of the year award several years in succession. Christian Steinkampf continues, More and more foodservice and catering companies focus on ways of cutting costs by the aid of most modern technology like application service providing (ASP) and enterprise solutions, i. e.: solutions for restaurant or catering chains and groups. Our portfolio perfectly satisfies this demand. Consequently, we further extend our team of POS specialists. The Dusseldorf division already did a couple of very successful installations for Hogatex. Jurgen Altenhoff, a renowned specialist with more than 20 years experience in the restaurant and catering business, is going to support Hogatex` POS competence centre in Dusseldorf. Jurgen Altenhoff held key positions for Nixdorf, which later became Siemens-Nixdorf, Fidelio, later Micros-Fidelio and then XN. Now he started his own business with Altenhoff & Partner.
