Axis Sales & Marketing will be the European representative of the International Convention Centre (ICC) Durban. Mr Miller Matola, CEO of the ICC Durban, said: We are delighted to appoint Axis Sales & Marketing as our representative in Europe. This is a very important market for us and we are looking forward to working together on a very successful collaboration.
The main thrust of the appointment will be to identify, work with and deliver events, congresses and meetings to the
ICC Durban. Axis will also be the main European press office for the ICC and the soon to be opened Arena (March 20 2007).
Axis Sales & Marketing founder Clemencia Cardozo Wiese said, We look forward to putting our expertise to work for the award winning ICC Durban. This is an added involvement with South Africa which we welcome and adds to the international nature of ourbusiness. Initially I will oversee this account with the help of our team. We are particularly excited because this coincides with exciting developments in Durban which include the opening of the Arena adjacent to the ICC and the new airport in 2008. Axis` activity will concentrate in the International Association centres of Europe and inthe attendance at the relevant European trade shows such as IMEX and EIBTM.
