The winners of the 2012 Online Retail Awards were announced this week with Netflights.com landing the top-prize in the travel category. Judged by an international panel of e-Commerce experts and hotly contested by leading online players, the Online Retail Awards recognise the very best websites and mobile sites, rewarding those that achieve commercial objectives whilst ensuring online shoppers enjoy their experience.
With this award the judges recognised the success of a major web development project undertaken by the Netflights.com team in 2011. The winning project, which involved in-depth customer research and usability studies followed by several months of development and beta testing, culminated in the launch of a new website in September of last year.

Since the end of 2011 Netflights.com has continued to move forward, notably working with Manchester based Inventive IT to launch a mobile version of website in June 2012.
