The two men prepared the hand-over intensively and thoroughly in recent weeks, enabling the new president and CEO to become familiar with his new role and working environment.
Tom Bolli, 45, has an extensive background in the field of air transport and training In addition to 22 years of experience as a First Officer and Captain on the Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 with Swissair and Swiss International Air Lines, he is also a trained ground and flight instructor, a Senior Type Rating Examiner and an active flight instructor for Switzerland`s Air Force.
In 1990 Tom Bolli was a co-founder of Elite Simulation Solutions, a manufacturer of Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer and special training instruments for the military aviation sector. He held the office of CEO and president until 2003. In March 2006 he completed a Masters Degree in Aviation Management at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada.
