He reviewed the department’s marketing strategy for the UK market during a meeting with the Director of DTCM’s UK and Ireland Representation Office in London and other staff members.

Present on the occasion were the DTCM Director Operations and Marketing, Mr. Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, and DTCM Executive Director Media Relations, Mr. Eyad Ali Abdul Rahman.

Dubai enjoys high popularity in the UK market as an ideal year-round business and leisure destination.

Mr. bin Sulayem also instructed for the successful implementation of the marketing strategy set for the UK market within the specified time frame.

He also highlighted the need for ensuring flow of more visitors from the UK market during the summer holidays for which a plan has already been placed for the DTCM UK and Ireland office.

Mr. bin Sulayem also met with the top management of the tour operators promoting Dubai in the UK market.

The Dubai government gives high importance to the UK market and established a representation office in London 17 years ago during the existence of tourism and commerce promotion board which was replaced by the DTCM in 1997.
