Virgin Atlantic is offering its passengers a great incentive to get their holidays off to the best start this summer. Between 1 July and 31 August 2009, all passengers travelling from Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow Airports who check in online will receive £6 off their duty free shopping onboard the flight. Retail Therapy, Virgin Atlantic’s duty free shopping range onboard, offers passengers the latest designer fragrances, cosmetics, gadgets and accessories, with huge savings of up to 50% off the high street prices.
Passengers travelling from London Heathrow will also receive exclusive vouchers for savings with selected duty free retailers within the departure areas of Terminal 3 at Heathrow.
Paul Dickinson, Sales & Marketing Director for Virgin Atlantic, said: “We hope that this promotion will encourage passengers to check in online before their trip as it means their journey through the airport during these busy summer months will be made much easier and more enjoyable.”
To obtain the vouchers, passengers will need to check in online between 1 July and 31 August 2009. Once they have done this, they will be able to print off their vouchers from their check in confirmation email and take them with them to the airport on the day of departure. For the Retail Therapy discount, passengers will need to present the voucher to a member of cabin crew onboard their flight when making a purchase of £30 or more. For all other vouchers, passengers should produce the voucher at the time of purchase.
