A three year agreement has been signed between VLM Airlines and CarTrawler enabling the European airline to offer packaged and standalone car rental offering for visitors to its website. Under the agreement VLM Airlines will use the CarTrawler distribution system to retrieve real-time inventory and pricing from car hire suppliers worldwide including all destinations serviced by VLM Airlines.
Commenting on the agreement, Bobby Healy CTO of CarTrawler said “because flyvlm.com has been built to the highest technological standards, integrating the CarTrawler OTA XML based feed for car hire has been a small task. VLM Airlines are up and running with a significant incremental source of revenue within weeks.”
