International Conference on Exploring new cultural horizons for Tourism aims to explore new horizons for cultural tourism, identify innovative means to widen communities’ involvement in the development of tourism products based on cultural heritage assets.
The Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization presents his compliments to the Affiliate Members of the Organization, recipients of this note, and has the honour to invite them to attend the International Conference on Exploring new cultural horizons for Tourism, to be held in Manama, Bahrain, on 28-30 April 2013, at the invitation of H.E. Sheikha Mai Bint Mohammed ALKHALIFA, Minister of Culture of Bahrain.
The Conference aims to explore new horizons for cultural tourism, identify innovative means to widen communities’ involvement in the development of tourism products based on cultural heritage assets, in particular on the intangible heritage and living culture of host populations, thus creating new socio-economic opportunities for all through sustainable and responsible tourism development.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
