JLL announces cooperation with ReviewPro to use hotel reputation data

This relationship with ReviewPro enables JLL to provide its clients with recommendations backed by robust data for maximising hotel asset performance and making investment decisions.

LONDON, UK – JLL, the world’s leading financial and professional services firm specialising in real estate, is now working with ReviewPro to provide Guest Intelligence to its global Hotels & Hospitality team. With more completed transactions than any other hotels and hospitality real estate adviser over the last five years, totaling more than $68 billion worldwide, JLL will be able to leverage this on an unparalleled scale.

Today, a hotel’s financial performance and real estate asset value are directly linked to its online reputation. This relationship with ReviewPro enables JLL to provide its clients with recommendations backed by robust data for maximising hotel asset performance and making investment decisions.

ReviewPro synthesizes hundreds of millions of reviews, in more than 45 languages, from more than 175 online review sources worldwide to answer questions such as:

– How is this hotel trending in guest satisfaction, in service ratings, in perception of value – compared to its competitors?
– What insights from guest feedback will assist while negotiating an asset sale or management contract?
– What capital expenditures will be required to make this property more competitive in the market?
– Is a new management company needed to maximise returns?
– How has Brand X performed vs. Brand Y over the past three years?

After extensive testing and evaluation, JLL identified ReviewPro as a key partner. The technology will be rolled out to JLL’s global hotel team of more than 350 professionals in 49 offices worldwide, giving them easy access to data such as the Global Review IndexTM, Competitive Quality IndexTM and industry-leading text analytics.

Mark Wynne-Smith, Global CEO of JLL’s Hotels and Hospitality Group, said: “Hotel reputation data helps us to provide our clients with new insights into the drivers of their asset’s value, on both investment sales and asset management instructions. Developments in technology are leading to unprecedented change in the hotel and hospitality industry and the advent of new competition. Through partnering with ReviewPro, we are pleased to be at the forefront, equipping our clients with deep insights and the confidence to shape the future of their businesses.

RJ Friedlander, CEO of ReviewPro, added: “We are thrilled to be helping JLL’s global Hotels & Hospitality team to meet its stated objectives of providing its clients with more valuable insights and better results through leveraging our Guest Intelligence data.
