Dubai heads down under for AIME 2005 in Melbourne

Australia will be the next stop for the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing

Australia will be the next stop for the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) to promote Dubai`s remarkable tourist facilities through its participation at the 13th Asia-Pacific Incentive & Meetings Expo (AIME) in Melbourne from February 22 to 23.



AIME is one of Australia`s premier travel exhibitions and the 2004 edition featured more than 750 participants from 45 countries. This year, the exhibition has attracted more than 100 new exhibitors and is covering nearly 8,000 square metres.

According to Mr. Mohammed Khamis bin Hareb, DTCM Director Operations & Marketing, The exhibition is part of DTCM`s strategy to promote Dubai to the Australian travel industry. The emirate has been seeing year on year increase in the number of tourists from Australia.



DTCM is participating at the event with the support of Dubai`s private sector. Co-participants at the show include Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, Alpha Tours, Sun & Sand Hotel, Oasis Adventures, The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, Gulf Ventures-MMI, Dubai Convention Bureau, Arabian Adventures, Grand Hyatt Dubai and Dubai International Convention Centre.



AIME 2005 is a must attend event for anyone involved in organizing incentives, conferences, meetings, business events or exhibitions and will offer more than 150 new products and services, new destinations, a new professional development seminar programme and a range of networking opportunities.
