Hertz has been named Middle East`s Leading Car Hire, as well as the leading car rental company for six other regions; Africa, Caribbean, Central and Latin America, Europe, North America and South America.
The company also collected the award for World`s Leading Business Car Rental Company in the prestigious World Travel Awards which acknowledges and celebrates great achievements in all areas of the world`s travel and tourism industry.
More than 25,000 travel agencies from 182 countries registered their votes online on the World Travel Awards website, which was established in 1993. Trophies were awarded in global and regional categories, as well as in specific travel industry areas and markets.
Hertz operates from approximately 7,000 locations in more than 140 countries. In the Middle East, Hertz is represented by franchise operations in Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, the UAE and Yemen, and by general sales agents in Saudi and Bahrain.
