As Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) draws nearer, new and returning exhibitors are looking forward to the only aircraft interiors event in the Middle East as the ideal place to meet the region’s buyers.
Among those exhibiting for the first time in 2019 are SACS Boysen aerospace group, which represents three aerospace commodities, all of which will be represented at AIME2019: SACS GmbH: Manufacturing, Boysen GmbH: Distribution and XBAG GmbH: Fire & Safety solutions for lithium batteries.
“The Middle East market is a growing market and it’s important to present ourselves and show case our products and capabilities for the region,” said Pierre Chamoun, CEO of SACS Boysen’s new establishment in United Arab Emirates. “The biggest challenges in the region is the appearance and local availability of material, we are here locally to support the customer requirements from our Abu Dhabi office and warehouse. Our primary objective for attending AIME 2019 is to reach new customers in the Middle & Far East region.”
Middle East airlines have invested heavily in new aircraft, and in addition Emirates began refurbishing its existing fleet with roll outs of its ‘completely refreshed’ multi-million dollar upgraded interiors earlier this year. Research Report Insights recently stated that the global aircraft refurbishing market will bring in annual revenues of over $7 billion by 2026, increasing from $4 billion in 2018.
Returning to the event for the fourth time will be Austrian leather manufacturer Boxmark, which is planning to display their methods using design tools to visualise functional properties; ensuring seat cushions appear more voluminous, within the constraints of smaller, lighter airline seats. Boxmark uses a genuine leather to provide surface texture and specialised patterns to increase perceptions.
“Airlines in the Middle East are planning to invest in a lot of new aircraft in the coming years,” said Christian Schober, Sales Center Upholstery at Boxmark. “This will be our fourth year exhibiting at AIME and each year the visitors on our booth increase.”
