Opatija, the Queen of the Adriatic, is one of Croatia’s most famous destinations, boasting a tradition of welcoming visitors dating back more than 170 years. The area’s extensive experience and tradition in organizing conventions, combined with quality modern accommodation, provide an excellent foundation for organizing various meetings and events. One of the reasons for this is undoubtedly Opatija’s favorable central position in the Alp-Adria region. Thanks to the modern motorway network, Opatija can today be easily reached by car in only several hours’ drive from all major centers of the region.

The Opatija Convention & Incentive Bureau, as part of the Opatija Tourism Office, is a non-profit organisation aimed at promoting Opatija as a renowned Croatian convention and incentive destination. The Bureau provides neutral, free-of-charge information to the organisers of conventions and incentive events in Opatija and its surroundings.
