No.1 Traveller joins Elite Travel Group

Premium lounge operator signs annual membership with the travel consortium.

Premium hospitality specialist No.1 Traveller has become a member of Elite Travel Group, a consortium which works with over 70 independent travel agencies across the UK.

Elite Travel Group facilitates networking events, provides member support and offers marketing services which harness partnerships among independent travel agents and increase profitability. Having grown its trade portfolio by 50 per cent in the last 12 months, this membership will help to further expand No.1 Traveller’s trade relations, which is now the fastest growing revenue stream for the premium airport services.

No.1 Traveller currently works with a range of large-scale trade partners and has increased its work with independent travel agents to provide tailored packages, which include competitive commission, incentives, training and support services. This approach enables No.1 Traveller’s trade partners to offer their customers a bespoke premium pre-flight experience.

Howard Ebison, Head of Commercial said: “We’re excited to become an Elite travel Group member and expand our trade relationships with like-minded travel companies who share our commitment to offering customers the best possible holiday experience. Our commercial team is dedicated to creating bespoke packages which respond to the needs of the travel trade and we look forward to introducing our product range, which includes premium airport lounges, travel spas, chauffeur-drive airport transfers and a VIP departure service, to current Elite Travel Group members.”

Elite Travel Group’s Chief Executive, Neil Basnett adds: “As a small quality consortium, we are very pleased to be working with No .1 Traveller. Their range of premium products, especially the No.1 Lounges and their Gordon Ramsay Plane Food partnership at Heathrow’s Terminal 5, will be of great appeal to our upmarket members who wish to offer something a little bit special to their clients”.
