Even amidst a global pandemic, those who are working from home are taking advantage of their freedom from an office. VacationRenter polled over 1,000 people working remotely to explore their travel habits. Here's what they found:
- 6 in 10 remote workers have already traveled while working this year, with 35% being very likely to travel in the next 4 months
- 64% said traveling while working remotely positively affected their mental health and 53% said it positively affected their work stress
- Another 58% said traveling while working is good for their work quality and work productivity
- Respondents were 4x more likely to prefer traveling more while having to work over traveling less but having the vacation time off
