The Full-Service Timeshare Rentals program complements RedWeek’s highly successful DIY rental service, utilized by hundreds of thousands of owners over the last 14 years.
SEATTLE – RedWeek.com, the online community for timeshare rentals and resales, just unveiled a full-service timeshare rental program that takes the anxiety out of online by-owner transactions for both parties.
The Full-Service Timeshare Rentals program complements RedWeek's highly successful DIY rental service, utilized by hundreds of thousands of owners over the last 14 years. RedWeek's online member-based marketplace provides a protected environment for owners and renters to connect, while eliminating the junk communications people often receive while posting intervals on unprotected online classified ad sites.
The new rental program is a direct response to feedback RedWeek received from many of its 2.3 million subscribers. While many owners enjoy listing their properties and dealing with potential renters directly, others are uncomfortable dealing with strangers – particularly when it involves exchanging money online.
"Our DIY renters have been tremendously successful, but the new full-service program makes it even easier for timeshare owners to rent their weeks. You make your reservation, we verify and advertise your week, handle all inquiries, and coordinate for the payment to be auto-deposited in your account. The owner gets paid and the renter gets a great timeshare vacation!" said Gary Prado, RedWeek's Vice President of Business Development.
To ensure the security of these rental transactions, RedWeek has partnered with DepositGuard, an online financial services company based in Austin, Texas, to handle the forms and the transfer of funds. Once RedWeek has a renter for the week, DepositGuard will generate the documents, collect money from the renter, and automatically deposit funds into the owner's bank account.
