Senshi Digital set to focus wholly on global tourism sector

Chris Torres, CEO of Senshi Digital

With nine years experience in the tourism and travel sector, and over 70 per cent of its work coming from tourist businesses across the globe, the switch in focus is a natural progression for the Glasgow-based company.

Multiple award-winning digital design studio, Senshi Digital, has devoted its focus to the growing international tourism sector. The company, known internationally as expert in destination focused digital business, will be ‘turning lookers into bookers’.

With nine years experience in the tourism and travel sector, and over 70 per cent of its work coming from tourist businesses across the globe, the switch in focus is a natural progression for the Glasgow-based company.

Chris Torres, CEO of Senshi Digital, said: “Since so much of our business comes from international travel companies, tour groups, and destinations, I thought it was time to focus on our core expertise, and to focus principally on the tourism sector.

“We are already supplying the very best in digital design to tour operators across the globe, as far afield as New Zealand, Italy, Japan, and Brazil, so it makes commercial sense to refine our company’s focus.”

One leading travel brand which has benefitted significantly from Senshi Digital’s branding expertise is US-based Gray Line, the oldest and largest tour company of its kind in the world.

The most recent redesign of Gray Line’s website was focused on full mobile compatibility and increasing ease of use over multiple devices. The results spoke for themselves, with the company’s revenue from mobile rising by 83 per cent, with transactions up by 101 per cent.

A focus on websites designed for mobile devices is a significant factor in Senshi Digital’s success, with figures showing that mobile internet access overtook fixed internet access in 2014.

With more customers selecting and booking their holidays or travel from handsets and tablets rather than laptops or desktops, mobile compatibility is vital for tour operators.
