Jade Lawley and Jenny O’Sullivan are both new additions to the team, while Emma Welch returns to the venue, where she had previously worked as an Event Manager.
The International Centre, Telford, announces the appointment of three new Event Managers to bolster the team in response to the unique requirements of its growing client base.
Jade Lawley and Jenny O’Sullivan are both new additions to the team, while Emma Welch returns to the venue, where she had previously worked as an Event Manager.
The three Event Managers will work closely with existing and new clients, taking full ownership of events from day one and helping to develop new ideas around the original brief, as well as overseeing any additional services that The International Centre, Telford, offers.
Working alongside the venue’s operational teams, Jade, Jenny and Emma will ensure smooth delivery of client events during the planning, execution and post-event phases, with all three reporting directly to Operations Director, Diane Austin.
Jade brings extensive experience in the sector to her role, having previously worked as Events Sales Executive at Wolverhampton Racecourse and subsequently as Events Coordinator at Shropshire’s Weston Park.
After studying Event Management at the University of Gloucestershire, which included a year’s internship with Silverstone Hospitality, Jenny began her events career with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS). She was a member of the National Youth Theatre and was part of the stage management team when Glasgow hosted the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Diane Austin, Operations Director at The International Centre, Telford, comments: “We’re delighted to welcome Jade and Jenny into our close-knit events team and to welcome Emma back to The International Centre. All three possess a wide range of experience in the events industry at some of the UK’s leading venues and I’m sure Emma’s previous experience here will prove invaluable to us all.
“I’m sure all three will play an integral role in helping to maintain the industry-leading high standards that our clients have come to expect,” she adds.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
