Transaero Airlines offers new unique service

In 2013/2014 winter schedule six Boeing 737-800 aircraft with Imperial class cabins will join the Transaero fleet. These aircraft will be operated on flights from London, Paris, Tel Aviv, Pathos, Astana and Almaty to Moscow.

MOSCOW – Transaero Airlines has announced the expansion of its first class offering to its medium-range routes. Now passengers travelling onboard Boeing 737-800 from a number of European cities, Israel and CIS countries to Moscow can enjoy the luxury and exclusiveness of Imperial class service that used to be only available on the airline’s long-haul routes.

Transaero’s Boeing 737-800 aircraft have been reconfigured to include an Imperial class cabin with four comfortable seats, a Business class cabin with eight seats with increased leg room of 43 inches and an Economy class cabin able to accommodate 132 passengers. Seat pitch in Economy class is 34 inches which is a strong competitive advantage on medium-range routes, when compared to standard market offerings.

The Imperial class features extra wide and comfortable seats, which easily transform into a comfortable flatbed. The menu on flights from Moscow comprises a variety of delicious meals from one of the most luxurious restaurants in the Russian capital, Cafe Pushkin. Individual treatment is delivered to passengers by VIP flight attendants.

I am sure passengers will greatly appreciate the luxury of Imperial class, and the comfort of travel in Business as well as a wider seat pitch in Economy class when compared to the traditional standards of narrow body aircraft. Imperial class is our unique product. Since its launch five years ago more than 52,000 passengers have travelled in Imperial class. Introduction of new services on medium-range routes is a part of the company’s strategy aimed at enhancing client services and fleet renewal.”
