TRX announces new TRAVELTRAX Cross Border Email notification

New email feature helps companies manage domestic and international business travel compliance.

ATLANTA – TRX, Inc., a global leader in travel data and technology, announced a new Cross Border Email notification feature for its data intelligence solution TRAVELTRAX.

The Cross Border Email helps companies managing travel address potential security and tax risks across state and country borders. Each state and country has unique laws, and business travelers need to be aware of them to ensure their own safety and compliance for the company. The email report addresses this issue, helping companies communicate in a timely manner to employees traveling abroad and giving managers a tool to proactively handle and address cross border implications.

The HTML-based Cross Border Email is customizable to company branding, policies and preferences. The notification criteria are configurable by the company, but can include automated emails to:

  • Employees notifying them when their trip days reach the country’s stated maximum before tax and visa implications begin. The email can also include specific steps to take to ensure continued compliance; and contact information or helpful links to resources within their company should they need further assistance.
  • Managers with a consolidated summary of where their employees are traveling and how long they have been in their respective locations, providing visibility for the manager and helping them keep their employees safe and the company compliant.
  • A list of appropriate company representatives with travelers’ details and warning alerts of potential compliance issues.

TRAVELTRAX helps corporations gain a better understanding of corporate travel data and more effectively manage their global T&E costs.
