Expedia Affiliate Network and VIA Rail Canada renew their partnership

VIA Rail Canada will use EAN's Chameleon platform, a cutting-edge, customizable retail tool, which provides customers with the most relevant hotels through an intuitive user interface and fast search process.

Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) announced its renewed partnership with VIA Rail Canada, Canada’s national rail passenger service. The deal will give viarail.ca customers access to EAN’s extensive inventory of hotels, totalling nearly 155,000 worldwide.

VIA Rail’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Steve Del Bosco comments, “We value our partnership with Expedia Affiliate Network which has enabled us to provide one-stop shopping for trains and hotels to more than a million visitors per month on our website at viarail.ca.”

VIA Rail Canada will use EAN’s Chameleon platform, a cutting-edge, customizable retail tool, which provides customers with the most relevant hotels through an intuitive user interface and fast search process. By using the Chameleon platform, VIA Rail Canada’s website gains a highly-customizable optimized booking path.

VIA Rail Canada’s customers will have access to deals on hotel rooms and industry leading availability and rates. User-generated reviews will be displayed when searching for a hotel on the website, helping VIA Rail Canada customers select the perfect hotel for their trip.

EAN VP of Sales, Thaddeus Hanscom, comments, “We’re excited to be continuing our partnership with an integral part of Canada’s transportation, VIA Rail Canada.  We look forward to sharing our updated platform, Chameleon, with their customers and believe this will further build on our partnership.”
