Carnival Cruise Lines will operate a six-day Bermuda cruise in 2006 and another in 2007 aboard the 88,500-ton Carnival Legend.

The six-day voyages will depart from New York on April 20, 2006, and April 19, 2007, and feature an overnight visit to King`s Wharf, Bermuda; as well as a full-day call at Newport, R.I.

The two Bermuda voyages precede Carnival Legend`s eight-day Caribbean cruise schedule from New York which runs from April – October 2006 and 2007.

Bermuda is a much sought-after cruise destination and these two voyages offer guests an opportunity to explore this island paradise while sailing aboard one of our most beautiful and amenity-laden ships, Carnival Legend, said Bob Dickinson, Carnival president and CEO.

Unforgettable Shoreside Experiences

Both cruises feature an overnight stay in historic King`s Wharf, a centuries-old port city home to exceptional shopping and dining opportunities, as well as such interesting sites as the Royal Naval Dockyard and the Bermuda Arts Center and Craft Market.

Guests can also relax on Bermuda`s legendary pink beaches and partake in a wide variety of watersports, including snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving. Outstanding golf opportunities at top courses are available, as well.

Also included is a stop in charming Newport, R.I., located on majestic Narragansett Bay and known for its craggy coastline, extensive yachting history and elegant mansions from the Gilded Age. A highlight in Newport is America`s Cup Avenue, lined with a variety of fine restaurants and boutiques.

Signature `Fun Ship` Amenities

In addition to unforgettable shoreside experiences in Bermuda and Newport, guests can enjoy Carnival Legend`s wide variety of on-board amenities — a 14,500-square-foot spa, Internet cafe, four swimming pools, and cruising`s top-rated children`s program, Camp Carnival. A diversity of dancing and entertainment venues, including a two-level dance club, a piano bar, and a 1,100-seat theater showcasing lavish Vegas-style revues, are featured, as well.

Dining options include a two-level main dining room, an upscale reservations-only supper club featuring U.S.D.A. prime beef and other gourmet cuisine, and a 1,200-seat casual poolside eatery with full breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets and a 24-hour pizzeria.

Carnival Legend is also the ideal ship for scenic cruising. In addition to indoor and outdoor promenades, 80 percent of the ship`s 1,062 staterooms offer either an ocean view or balcony

Pricing and Reservations

Prices for the Carnival Legend`s Bermuda cruises begin at $599 per person based on double occupancy. Special rates for third and fourth guests sailing in the same stateroom, as well as round-trip air supplements from a variety of North American gateways, are also available.
