Meeting Professionals International (MPI) announces a partnership with Content Management Corporation as its strategic partner to capture and publish content generated during professional development sessions at MPI conferences.
Content Management Corporation will attend MPI conferences as a technology support sponsor. They will work closely with MPI’s professional development team to record sessions and capture ancillary materials that are in alignment with the 13 skill families developed as part of MPI Member Solutions, the global meetings industry’s first initiative to define meetings management as a recognized, respected profession and create personalized career paths for meeting professionals through the industry’s first standardized job descriptions, skills and core competencies.
After each conference, attendees will receive a CD-ROM featuring selected recorded education sessions from the conference they attended. Non-attendees will be able to purchase copies of the CD-ROM from the MPI Bookstore to help further their educational needs. This partnership has allowed MPI to offer audio recordings and synchronized PowerPoint presentations from selected MPI education sessions dated back to 2002 and will be available on www.mpiweb.org, to provide additional learning in conjunction with MPI Member Solution’s online skills assessment.
