The Infrastructure and Transportation Conference, organized for the sixth time, is one of the most significant annual events in the country’s Technical/Construction and Transportation sector.
The Chairman of PPA S.A., Yu Zenggang, proudly accepted the prestigious “Company of the Year”; award on behalf of the company at the 6th Infrastructure and Transport Conference held from September 17 to 20. The company was honored with the prestigious award for its significant contributions to the country’s transportation sector. The recognition was also in appreciation of the company’s outstanding financial accomplishments, which set a historic record during the past year.
While accepting the award, the Chairman of PPA, Yu Zenggang, highlighted the successful implementation of targeted investments by the company, exceeding 1 billion euros. These investments have played a crucial role in the efficient operation of the Port of Piraeus, particularly in cargo and passenger transportation. He also highlighted PPA’s substantial impact on the national economy, with tax and insurance payments surpassing 70 million euros in 2022, estimated at approximately 1.56% of the country’s GDP. Furthermore, he extended his sincere thanks to all port employees, whose extensive experience and dedication are instrumental to the port’s continuous success.
