Award-winning software provider contracts with market-leading luxury hotels, including Gruppo UNA, Mangia’s, and Baglioni Hotels & Resorts.

SAN FRANSISCO – Duetto has seen rapid expansion in Italy’s hotel sector, signing such notable brands as Baglioni Hotels & Resorts, Gruppo UNA, and Mangia‘s all within the last 12 months.

Baglioni Hotels & Resorts is a collection of five-star city-center hotels and luxury resorts, many of which are part of the Leading Hotels of the World collection. The high-end hospitality provider has contracted with Duetto for seven of its most prestigious boutique hotels in Italy.

“We are thrilled to embark on this new collaboration with Duetto. We truly appreciate the expertise and innovation they bring to the table and we believe that our combined expertise in the hotel industry, resources, and shared passion for pushing the boundaries of technology can lead to extraordinary outcomes and create incredible value for our customers,” said Federica Garavaglia, Director of Revenue, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts.

Gruppo UNA is an iconic Italian chain featuring 52 properties across Italy, from city center destinations to rural retreats, and coastal idylls, this brand offers something for everyone. Gruppo UNA’s strength is its distinctive Italian character and its portfolio comprises the three brands UNA Esperienze, UNAHOTELS, and UNAWAY that best represent three ways of experiencing hospitality, aimed at the upper-upscale, upscale and smart segments respectively.

“We chose Duetto because we found it to be the most dynamic in the market and the most user-friendly. It is a solution that not only helps you manage your room pricing in a dynamic way but also helps with total profit management,” said Luca Vallasciani, Director of Revenue, Gruppo UNA.

Mangia’s is an Italian-based resort and club collection of 13 properties offering outstanding home-grown hospitality throughout Italy.

“We are proud of the collaboration between Mangia’s and Duetto, which will improve the revenue strategy for our company and is part of the climate of change that Mangia’s is going through in this year of great news!” said Nino Tropea, Director of Revenue, Mangia’s Resorts on optimizing rates with Duetto.

Duetto appointed Antonio Casale to the post of Director of Sales, Italy, in May 2022 as part of its expansion into the region. Before Duetto, Casale worked as Director of Hotel Solutions & Sales for HRS. He also spent many years working in hotels, in reservations, and sales roles.

In 2022, Duetto was announced as a preferred Revenue Solutions provider for Leading Hotels of the World (LHW). The luxury hotel collection collaborated with Duetto because of its built-in customization and controlled automation, along with its long-standing experience working with independent, prestigious, high-end hotels.

“I am so pleased and proud to announce our partnerships with these iconic Italian ‘marquee’ hotel groups. Since Antonio arrived in 2022, we have continuously seen regional progress and success. Italy is such a beautiful country and a unique hotel market, and I cannot wait to see how we further develop the territory,” said Michael Schäffner, VP Sales EMEA, Duetto.
