DHV Group, the international engineering consultancy, has increased its ownership in the InterVISTAS Consulting Group from 50% to 100% and divested its 40% minority share in Delcan Corporation.
InterVISTAS, operating world-wide and with offices in the USA, Canada, UK and the Netherlands, is as of 6 October 2011 a wholly owned part of the DHV Group. Until now, InterVISTAS was jointly owned by the DHV Group and Delcan Corporation. “InterVISTAS fully complements our vision for being a world player in the aviation industry,” says Bertrand van Ee, President DHV Group. Full ownership of InterVISTAS will also unlock further collaboration with DHV Group’s company NACO, Netherlands Airport Consultants.
DHV Group’s expanded investment in InterVISTAS is part of a joint decision by the DHV Group and Delcan to pursue independent ways, having achieved the joint strategic objectives in ITS and global expansion, as set out in 2002. DHV Group and Delcan are parting on good terms. Current joint projects will continue uninterrupted and both parties intend to continue cooperating on a project by project basis.
The further investment in InterVISTAS is in line with DHV Group’s strategy of preferring full ownership of the companies that it invests in.
