PCMA brings high level summit to Lisbon

The 2014 program features an engaging workshop with author and award winning speaker Oscar van Weerdenburg, where he will guide attendees through the intricacies of cross-cultural negotiations.

CHICAGO, IL. – The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is continuing its mission of bringing the highest-level, global meetings community together in a format that breaks down traditional paradigms and fosters innovative thinking in meetings. This year the Global Professionals Conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, August 26-28, 2014.

“Last year was our first experience holding an educational event with the content focused on a specific region of the world – Asia/Pacific. Attendees were focused on strategies and solutions that drives their business, increasing engagement and clearly positioning meetings as strategically important to their overall organizations’ success. This year we have built upon the successes of the Asia-Pacific program and we’ve got a phenomenal program in place for meeting executives looking to educate themselves and getting the most out of meeting in Europe,” said PCMA Chief Operating Officer, Sherrif Karamat.

The 2014 program features an engaging workshop with author and award winning speaker Oscar van Weerdenburg, where he will guide attendees through the intricacies of cross-cultural negotiations. Additionally, Sony Kapoor, Managing Director of the think tank Re-Define, will give the opening keynote address on the Euro-Economic landscape and what it means for meetings and events.
